Rockin' the Classic Hits of the '60's and '70's in
Nashville, Tennessee!
We started recording a bunch of "new" songs (new for us, but major hits back in the glory days of rock 'n' roll) prior to the coronavirus pandemic. We were able to get most of the instrumental backing tracks recorded, but still had a ways to go before they were completed, and had not even started on the vocals. With all band members practicing social distancing, it looked at first like the recording project would have to be kept on hold for the foreseeable future. But then we started seeing online videos of people recording songs using "distance technology", and decided to give it a try. Boy, are we glad that we did! It's not only worked, but it's been a lot of fun. By sending audio files back and forth between band members, we were able to compile all of the tracks including vocals, into complete songs. A good deal of technology was required, as well as quite a bit of time (tyme), but we think it was worth the effort. So, at least for now, although you can't see Tyme performing in person, we hope that you enjoy the ten songs below as much as we enjoyed recording them. Five of the songs are re-mixes and updates to songs that we have posted on our website in the past. Five of them are completely new recordings, not heard by anyone until now. This is only half of the songs that we started working on, and more all-new songs will be coming over the next few weeks, so please check back often!
